The Lynndale Wood Heating System is designed to work with a variety of other fuel sources, as the primary or the secondary source of heat.

In the package shown to the left, electric heat strips are installed as the secondary heat source. The Lynndale System provides the blower for both wood and electric heating.

In this configuration, a conventional downflow furnace provides the blower for the gas and wood heat. Either the conventional or the wood furnace can be the primary source in this scenario, depending on how the thermostats are set.

An air conditioning coil can be added to this, or the other packages.

This is the typical setup when the Lynndale System is added to an existing home.

Both units can utilize the same ductwork and fan shutters are used to keep either unit from short circuiting through the other.
